SPACE SHUTTLE ENDEAVOUR FERRIES TOWARD KENNEDY SPACE CENTER Print

Space shuttle Endeavour, mounted atop a NASA Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, began its cross-country flight Wednesday morning from Edwards Air Force Base in California. Endeavour concluded its STS-126 shuttle mission on Nov. 30 with a landing at Edwards. The Ferry Flight will take Endeavour to Kennedy Space Center, Florida, where it will be prepared for its next mission, STS-127 in 2009.
