During a Jan. 14 routine reboost of the International Space Station, an oscillation was experienced due to improper software that was uplinked in error. The rockets that fired were two Russian service module engines used for debris maneuver and reboost. The crew was awake and reported a fairly healthy vibration throughout the station. The Russians are investigating ways to prevent future or similar occurrences. NASA analysis shows that the station has not been structurally damaged by the reboost vibrations.
