EXPEDITION 20 - CREW PREPARES FOR ISS MISSION Print

At the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, Expedition 20 Soyuz Commander Roman Romanenko and Flight Engineers Frank De Winne of the European Space Agency and Bob Thirsk of the Canadian Space Agency participated in traditional prelaunch activities from May 15-26, 2009 in advance of their scheduled launch May 27 in the Soyuz TMA-15 spacecraft to expand the International Space Station to six crewmembers for the first time. The video also includes the mating of the Soyuz capsule to its booster rocket and the Soyuz rollout to the launch pad in Baikonur.
