Expedition 26 Crew Activities in Baikonur, Soyuz TMA-20 Vehicle Mating and Rollout to the Launch Pad Print

The Soyuz TMA-20 spacecraft and booster were moved on a railcar to the launch pad t the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan Dec. 13, 2010. Final preparations are underway for launch Dec. 16, Baikonur time, to the International Space Station. The Soyuz will carry Expedition 26 Soyuz Commander Dmitry Kondratyev, NASA Flight Engineer Cady Coleman and European Space Agency Flight Engineer Paolo Nespoli to the complex. The trio will spend six months on the station, joining station Commander Scott Kelly and Russian Flight Engineers Alexander Kaleri and Oleg Skripochka, who have been in orbit since October. The video includes footage of the Soyuz capsule being mated to its booster on Dec. 12, 2010.
