STS-133 - Launch Team Practices Liftoff Procedures Print

At NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, STS-133 launch team members in Firing Room 4 of the Launch Control Center practiced procedures on Jan. 7, for the liftoff of space shuttle Discovery’s final mission. The team at Kennedy participated in launch simulations with personnel at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, Houston. Discovery’s next launch opportunity for its mission to the International Space Station is no earlier than Feb. 24.
