STS-133 - Astronauts Train with New Crew Member Print

During the week of Jan. 24, crew members for space shuttle Discovery’s STS-133 mission to the International Space Station trained at the virtual reality lab, space shuttle simulator and neutral buoyancy laboratory at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston. On Jan. 19, Steve Bowen replaced Tim Kopra as the STS-133 mission specialist 2 following a bicycle injury Jan. 15 that prohibited Kopra from supporting the target launch window.
