Media had the opportunity to view the cargo that will fly aboard space shuttle Endeavour on its final mission, STS-134, during an event at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on March 10. The STS-134 mission, targeted for launch on April 19, will deliver the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer-2 (AMS) to the International Space Station. The AMS is a sophisticated science instrument designed to increase our understanding of the universe. Endeavour also will deliver the Express Logistics Carrier 3, a platform that carries spare parts for station operations.

Reporters at Kennedy’s Space Station Processing Facility talked with managers and team members involved in the processing of the Endeavour’s cargo for flight.
