ISS Program Manager Mike Suffredini discusses with media about the loss of the Progress resupply ship scheduled to dock to the International Space Station on August 26. At the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, the Russian ISS Progress 44 resupply ship launched at 9 a.m. EDT, 7 p.m. Baikonur time on August 24, 2011, bound for the International Space Station. Five minutes and 20 seconds after liftoff, telemetry was lost with the cargo craft.
