On April 11, crew members of the NASA Shuttle Carrier Aircraft (SCA) scheduled to transport space shuttle Discovery to Washington, D.C, discussed the upcoming event during activities at the Kennedy Space Center. The crew arrived at NASAís Kennedy Space Center, Fla. on April 10 in NASA SCA-905, a modified 747 jet that will ferry Discovery from Kennedy to Washington Dulles International Airport near Washington, D.C. on April 17. Discovery will be moved to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museumís Udvar-Hazy Center near Dulles on April 19.
