International Space Station Cameras Captured Video of Storms in the Pacific Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico Print

Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 28 crew members and external cameras captured new video of storms in the Pacific, Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico on Sept. 2, 2011: at 4:01 a.m. EDT of Tropical Storm Talas over Japan, moving north-northwest with winds of 65 miles an hour; at 9:41 a.m. of Hurricane Katia in the Atlantic, moving west-northwest with winds of 75 miles an hour; and at 12:50 p.m. of Tropical Storm Lee meandering in the northern Gulf of Mexico, creeping up toward the coast of Louisiana with winds of about 40 miles an hour.
