The crew that will launch aboard space shuttle Discovery on the STS-133 mission participated in a payloads crew equipment interface test Sept. 2 at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Fla. During the test, the six astronauts inspected mission hardware and flight equipment they will use in orbit.

Discovery will deliver the Permanent Multipurpose Module filled with spare parts and supplies, as well as Robonaut 2, a dexterous humanoid astronaut helper, to the International Space Station. Discovery is targeted to launch on Nov. 1.

The STS-133 crew is Commander Steve Lindsey, Pilot Eric Boe, and Mission Specialists Alvin Drew, Tim Kopra, Michael Barratt and Nicole Stott.
